AEO Audit

Free AEO audit: see how ChatGPT recommends your brand

Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) is making sure AI assistants — not just Google — recommend your brand on buying questions. Most AEO advice is generic (“add schema”, “get cited”). This free AEO audit measures where you stand on ~20–30 buyer prompts, then tells you exactly what to fix.

A real AEO audit, not a checklist

You give us your brand, category, and a couple of competitors. We generate ~20–30 buyer-intent prompts — the kind a real prospect would type — and run them through ChatGPT for free. You get a mention rate, a recommendation rate, a citation rate, and exactly which competitors are winning each prompt instead of you.

AEO isn't one engine

A free ChatGPT-only check tells you whether you have a problem. The paid upgrade runs the identical prompt set through Perplexity, Gemini, Claude, and Grok too, since buyers don't all use the same assistant — a gap on one engine and a strength on another both change what you should actually build next.

The output is a backlog, not a report card

10 prioritized, concrete actions — specific pages to publish, schema types to add, directories to submit to — each tied to the exact prompts and competitors it addresses, with an honest expected-impact rating instead of generic SEO advice.

FAQ

What's the difference between AEO and SEO?

SEO optimizes for ranking in a list of blue links. AEO optimizes for being the answer an AI assistant gives directly — often with no click-through at all. The signals overlap (clear content, schema, authoritative citations) but the target is different: you're optimizing for being cited and recommended, not just ranked.

How is my AEO score calculated?

Mention rate (40%), recommendation rate (30%), brand citation rate (20%), and positive sentiment share (10%), rounded to 0–100. Average list position is shown separately and is not part of the composite. Full detail is on the Methodology page.

Is one audit enough, or do I need to keep checking?

One audit tells you where you stand today. The real value is re-running the identical prompt set after you ship changes, to see whether your AEO score actually moved — that before/after comparison is the paid unlock.
